If you love being outdoors, this is the perfect place. Lots of hiking, scenic views, golfing, and we also have trails for atvs/jeeps. We are less than 5 minutes from Pine Mtn State Park, (Kentucky’s oldest state park) and Wasiato Winds Golf Course. Hike to Chained Rock, a large boulder on Pine Mountain overlooking the town of Pineville Secured by a 101-foot steel chain installed in 1933, folklore claims the rock was chained to protect the town. Middlesboro Country Club, established in 1889 is located in a mountain crater in Bell County, it is recognized as one of the oldest continuously played nine-hole golf courses in the United States and is a 15 mile drive from our place. Cumberland Gap National Park is about a 20 minute drive. Cumberland Falls State Park (famous for the moonbow) is about an hour drive. Kingdom Come state park is about an hour as well.
Great Smoky Mtns is about 2 hours, perfect for a day trip.

Before a single paid ad. Before the official app launch. Before most people even know we exist, and in just a few weeks, this is where we stand:

👥 300 travelers already exploring the Trail
✅ 312 check-ins generated organically
⭐ 90.8% of Trail visitors are first-time customers to the shops they visit
🚗 Nearly 1 in 10 Trail users is driving 75+ miles to find great coffee in Kentucky

Think about that last one. These aren't people stumbling in by accident. They opened a web app, found a shop, and drove across the state to visit it. That is what intentional travel looks like ...and it's already happening before we've spent a dollar on advertising.

We built The Kentucky Coffee Trail because independent coffee shops deserve more than a line in a tourism directory. They deserve to be destinations. And travelers deserve a reason to explore the small towns and back roads that make Kentucky worth discovering.

What's becoming clear is that this is bigger than coffee. When people seek out independent shops in small towns across Kentucky, real economic activity follows. We're watching it happen in real time ...and we're just getting started.
