ADRENALINE JU**IE JAMBOREE AT RIDE ROYAL BLUE - DETAILED EVENT ITINERARY

We have carefully planned a few group rides for the event in addition to the main event at the venue on Saturday. Our focus with these rides is to create a few days of safe fun and excitement on the trails. Please read the entire outline below, it should answer most of your questions and prepare you for what to expect. We hope to see you there!

SAFETY
Safety is our first priority. We ask that all participants make it a priority to contribute to a safe environment for yourself, as well as everyone else in your group. Our main goals are to depart and arrive back without incident. We highly recommend proper restraint systems at all times. Helmets are required by law for all riders under the age of 18 at all times, on roadways or OHV trails. We recommend all riders wear helmets at all times, especially on the trails. DOT approved helmets are also mandatory for the bounty course and barrel racing on Saturday.

WHAT TO BRING
Please arrive with a FULL tank of fuel each day. We highly recommend a two-way radio, tire repair kit, sufficient food and drinks. Winches and tree straps are also recommended. Common spare parts and basic tools for your machine are always beneficial to have on hand.

ALCOHOL
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) will be patrolling the area all weekend and there will likely be checkpoints throughout the trail networks. Alcohol usage on the trails is prohibited. If TWRA officers suspect you have alcohol, they can and may check your coolers and vehicles. Our suggestion is to save the drinking for when you’re back at camp. Be responsible. The actions of a few can affect many.

LAND USE PERMITS – TRAIL PASSES
Land use permits are mandatory and will likely be checked at some point on the trails by TWRA.
Every vehicle needs a permit. You should print them at home before you come. A permit must be carried with you at all times and made available upon request. You can buy permits online or on the Go Outdoors TN app. A virtual copy of your permit can be stored using the phone app.
Below are the breakdowns on which passes to purchase, either on the website or the app.
Link to the TWRA website: https://license.gooutdoorstennessee.com/Licensing/CustomerLookup.aspx

Tennessee Residents
Daily Permit: Type 36 ($15 per day)
Annual Pass: Type 1 plus 93 ($53)
Junior Annual ( 13± ): Type 2 plus Type 94 ($35)
Passengers and Children 12 and under are FREE.

NOTE: A Sportsman and Lifetime License holder, as well as Active Military Member, will cover your riding permit.

Out of State Visitors
Daily Permit: Type 38 ($37 per day)
Seven-day pass: Type 72 plus Type 93 ($81)
Annual Pass: Type 71 plus Type 93 ($133)
Junior Annual ( 13± ): Type 70 plus Type 94 ($36)
Passengers and Children 12 and under are FREE.

NOTE: Don’t read too deep into the permit descriptions, they are confusing. You can trust the information above. The above pass combinations offer the best value and will cover all of your OHV needs.

ROUTES
- Routes, details, and travel times may change before or during the event as we adapt to demand and other variables.
- We will have to logically cap group sizes around 20-25 machines to make sure things flow at a decent pace.
- We are putting these group rides together for the community. Most of you know this is our first big trail riding focused event so things won’t be perfect. We are learning and hoping to figure out the best approach for future events. We will happily welcome constructive feedback after the event.
- Our goal is to grow these events into something we can all enjoy, while maximizing the fun factor for all involved.
- With that being said, you don’t have to ride in the groups. If you don’t like it, it’s OK to make your own groups with friends.
- If you choose to leave a group mid ride please inform the guide or a few other riders. No one will be offended. We can all regroup at camp later and hangout.

THURSDAY – Early bird ride, the goal is to have a fun laid back day with like minded people:
• We will be hosting a ride to the Brushy Mountain State Prison and back. The group will be staging at Ride Royal Blue ATV Resort & Campground General Store at 8:00 on Thursday morning with a departure time of 9:00. We will arrive at the prison at approx. 12:30-13:00, eat lunch and head back. There will be a mixture of trails and pavement in both directions (it’s quite a long ride if you take just trail). Please arrive with a FULL tank of fuel. The plan is to get to the prison in a timely fashion and then depending on what time it is when we leave, we can fine tune our route back. We plan to be back at camp around 17:00.

Meet & Greet and Complimentary BBQ: 17:30-19:00… or whenever
• Come hang out and grab a bite to eat. After our ride on Thursday we will hang out at the pavilion at RRB campground and have a laid back BBQ. Complimentary burgers and hot dogs. Everyone is welcome. No plans for this except having a good time.
• Night riding is allowed so if anyone wants to go for a night ride that’s an option.

FRIDAY – It will be a busy day and we will be hosting a variety of rides as detailed below:
• Group 1A – Jellico to Tackett: Guide, Chris Hyde. Staging is at 8:00 and departure at 9:00 from the event parking area across from The Ridges at Royal Blue Campground. This ride is considered moderate to difficult with a mixture of pavement, easy, medium and difficult trails. We will depart the staging area and head to Jellico, top off fuel and continue through the trails of Jellico, then into Tackett Creek, and from there back to camp. The goal is to meet group 1B mid day at Slate Rock, roughly in the middle of the loop. Our expected travel times will be from 9:00-17:00.

• Group 1B – Tackett to Jellico: Guide, Jason Meadows. Staging is at 8:00 and departure at 9:00 from the event parking area across from The Ridges at Royal Blue Campground. This ride is considered moderate to difficult with a mixture of pavement, easy, medium and difficult trails. We will depart the staging area and head to Tackett Creek, then to Jellico, and from there back to camp. The goal is to meet group 1A mid day at Slate Rock, roughly in the middle of the loop. Our expected travel times will be from 9:00-17:00.

• Group 2 – Brushy Mtn State Penitentiary: Guide, Ron Jackson. Staging is at Royal Blue Powersports at 8:00 with a departure time of 9:00. Ron will take the group to the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary down a mix of trail, gravel roads and paved sections. This is considered a moderate-easy ride depending on the specific trails selected. Riders will arrive at the prison at approx. 12:30-13:00, eat lunch at the Wardens Table Restaurant (awesome BBQ) and head back to camp on a similar style route. Expected travel times will be from 9:00-17:00.

• Group 3 – Sundquist Unit Tour: Guide, Jason Hill. The group will be staging at Ride Royal Blue ATV Resort & Campground General Store at 8:00 with a departure time of 9:00. Jason will the group around the Sundquist Unit (WMA land surrounding Ride Royal Blue ATV Resort). This is considered a mild ride. Great for stock machines and families. It’s still a fun ride and it’s a popular loop. Expected travel times will be from 9:00-17:00.

• Group 4 – Route to be determined: Guide, Leonard Huckaby. Staging will be at 8:00 and departure at 9:00. Route is yet to be determined. Updated information will be provided at the event when details are finalized.

• Group 5 – Route to be determined: Guide, Dan Bennett May be added based on needs
Staging will be at 8:00 and departure at 9:00. Route is yet to be determined. Updated information will be provided at the event when details are finalized.

AFTER RIDE: Food Truck + Glow Party
• There will be a food truck on site Friday for the majority of the day and into the evening. Grab a bite to eat and hang out.
• Light up your machine into the evening and let people check it out. The goal is to hang out with like minded people and talk about riding, machines, and anything else that comes to mind.

SATURDAY – The main event at the venue with no scheduled group rides.
* The detailed event breakdown for Saturday is at the end of the itinerary.

SUNDAY – There will be two main group rides:

Group 1 – Extreme ride. Technical and challenging terrain. This ride will take you through some difficult terrain. It will be guided by Jason Meadows. Staging area at Royal Blue Powersports. Meet at 10:00 and hit the trails at 11:00. The ride will start with the Pea Gravel Hill bypass and head towards the Sand Mines and Three Leg, eventually getting to Hell’s Garden. Be prepared to push the limits on this ride. There is no guaranteed return time for this ride. It all depends on how things go. Prepare to be out all day and potentially well into the evening. If you want to send it, this is the ride for you. Prepare for some carnage.

Group 2 – Laid back family style ride. Guided by Justin Jones, the owner of Ride Royal Blue. This ride will be on the Sundquis unit trails and will conclude with a stop at the Elk Viewing Tower before heading back to camp. Meet at 10:00 at the Ride Royal Blue General Store and hit the trails at 11:00. This ride is suitable for all machines. Children are welcome and encouraged to join. There will be nice scenery and the group should get back to camp by 17:00.

After Ride – Complimentary BBQ and Hang Out: 18:00ish-20:00ish… or whenever
• Come hang out and grab a bite to eat. After our ride on Sunday we will chill out at the pavilion at Rid Royal Blue Campground and have a laid back BBQ. Complimentary burgers and hot dogs. Everyone is welcome. No plans for this except having fun. A great time to reflect on the weekends events, offer some constructive feedback or anything else that comes to mind.
• Night riding is allowed so if anyone wants to go for a night ride that’s an option.

MONDAY – We will play it by ear:

• Depending on who is left and what people are wanting to do we will plan a group ride. It will likely be more laid back. We can plan to meet up around 9:30 and hit the trails around 10:30. The goal would be to get back to camp earlier, around 15:00.
• After we get back to camp we can regroup. If anyone from the group wants to go into town with us we could all go have dinner together somewhere. We could get cleaned up and changed. Then we could choose a place to meet around 17:00 for a nice group meal.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Community Building

The goal of the Adrenaline Ju**ie Jamboree events is to build community. We want to bring like minded people together in one spot. These events are organized by riders, for riders. The goal is to scale things sustainably without losing track of the core values we have set. These events focus around atmosphere, providing a fun and welcoming place for riders to come enjoy themselves. There will always be a focus on trail riding and other fun riding related events. In the future we may bring on some more vendors to help grow the events, but we will always work hard to ensure the brands we partner with have the best intentions of the community and event in mind. These events are for YOU, not for the brands or businesses. Grassroots events, for real riders. The businesses and brands are important but nothing is more important to the powersports industry than powersports enthusiasts like YOU. This is OUR community and these events are OUR way of directing how we want that community to function. It’s OUR job as enthusiasts to keep the community healthy. I hope that with YOUR help the team at AdrenalineJu**ieProd can continue to improve on and grow such events. If you enjoyed yourself then share your photos, videos, and opinions with friends. Let’s shape the SXS community into what WE want it to be, TOGETHER.
