🌿 Spring Clean-Up Help Wanted – Early May 🌿

Looking to get outside and put in a solid day’s work? We’re hiring a few extra hands for a few days of spring clean-up at our remote sporting camps in KI Jo Mary during the first week of May.

🛠️ Work includes:
• Raking and clearing grounds
• Picking up sticks and debris
• Trail work

This is physical work—expect heavy lifting and long days outside in whatever weather Maine decides to throw at us.

🚗 Requirements:
• Reliable transportation and be comfortable driving gravel roads
• Able to work in a remote off-grid setting with zero cell service
• Strong work ethic and a great attitude

If you enjoy being outdoors and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, this is a great way to kick off the season.

Katahdin!

My first day off since August, the day after the last sport checked out of the camps…after the busiest season ever. Soooo…Griffin and I headed to Baxter to tackle Katahdin to cap off the season!

Weather couldn’t have been better for an October summit on 10/6/2025.

I operate some sporting camps where I could fly fish for beautiful native brook trout in pristine remote mountain ponds on an afternoon off.

What do I do instead? Take the “big boat” out on some other lakes and hit up the smallmouth… 😅

I’ll wait till next month to go back to chasing brookies ☺️
