Do your plans ever include a day designated to swim and relax? Do you take swim breaks during your park days? Depending on the schedule you keep it’s wise to schedule some down time, just as a refresher. The pools at Disney resorts are all heated year round and have a nice children’s area/splash pad. Moderate and deluxe category resorts have hot tubs, and some have water slides. They all offer poolside activities posted (refer to the schedule). Towels are provided. TIP #1: There are laundry facilities located near/at the pools. I throw a load or two in while at the pool so I don’t waste time washing clothes late at night. TIP #2: If you are arriving early there’s a good chance that your room won’t be ready. If you don’t plan to go to a park, leave your luggage with bell services and head to the pool! Just make sure to either pack your bathing suits in a carry on or make them easily accessible in your suitcases before leaving them with bell services. TIP #3: If you have a later flight, drop your luggage off at bell services and head to the pool for a few hours. There are bath houses at at least one pool on your resort’s property that have body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and towels for you to shower at. The sinks have electrical outlets for hair appliances.
