Travel advice from your unhinged travel bestie 🌊

Take the teenagers to the beach.

Yes, even if they sleep until noon.

Yes, even if you spent good money to bring them all the way to the damn ocean just so they could nap with a better zip code. 😂

Let them sleep.

Seriously.

They’ll eventually emerge looking confused, starving, and somehow exhausted from doing absolutely nothing.

Feed them. Point them toward the ocean. Carry on.

Because teenagers are weird little vacation creatures.

They don’t need an itinerary. They don’t need to be up at 8am “making the most of the day.” And they definitely do not give a s**t about the sunrise you think everyone needs to see.

But eventually they show up.

Usually around sunset. 😂

And that’s when you get the walks on the beach, the ridiculous conversations, the laughing until somebody can’t breathe, and those random little moments you couldn’t have planned if you tried.

So take the trip.

Let the teenager sleep.

You go enjoy the beach.

They know where to find you. 😂🌊

🚨 Breaking news: Contrary to popular belief, I’m not emotionally attached to a castle.

I know… shocking.

Contrary to popular belief, I don’t break out in hives if you tell me you don’t want to go to Disney.

Don’t get me wrong… I freaking love Disney.

But I also get ridiculously excited about wandering a city I’ve never explored, finding a random hole in the wall restaurant because it looks good, spending a weekend in a beach town, getting lost in a mountain town, or booking a trip to a place I can’t pronounce without embarrassing myself.

Turns out… my travel personality has hella range.

So yes, I’ll happily plan your Disney vacation.

I’ll also plan the European adventure you’ve been dreaming about, the all inclusive where your biggest decision is pool or beach, the girls’ trip that should’ve happened years ago, the mountain cabin, the cruise, the long weekend in a city you’ve never explored, or that random place you’ve had saved on Instagram for three years.

Basically… if it requires packing a suitcase, I’m probably interested.

Now tell me where we’re going in the comments. And no… you can’t say Disney. 😏

Hot take. There is no single Disney resort that wins for everyone.

I know the internet loves a clean little “just stay here” answer.
But your family is not basic… so your resort should not be either.

Are you rope drop chaos energy or slow coffee and pool day vibes.
Do your kids tap out after ten minutes of walking or run the parks like tiny legends.
Are you paying for pure convenience or making that budget work overtime.

These are the details that decide whether your trip feels magical…
or like an expensive lesson in poor planning.

This is the part most people wing.
