We just want to remind everyone that the pantry is open starting tomorrow (11/29) from 10am to 6pm! There will be 4 more in person shopping days until final exam week starts. Our last day will be December 8th and it will have our regular fall hours. We will be closed during finals week and winter break. The pantry will open back up whenever spring semester starts!

CHS food pantry is a wonderful resource for free food in South Oakland. They recently helped us last week with food restock and providing increased community support. Please go and support them this Friday at their "The Big Share" event ☺️

The Big Share 2022 will be held next Friday, September 30th, 5pm-7pm at the CHS Food Pantry. Good Afternoon!

Due to the recent move, the need for essential items has rapidly increased amongst students & staff.

We are asking our supporters and the Pitt community to donate items to the pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the front desk or the box outside the pantry door.

The Pitt Pantry will be tabling at the Healthy U Fair on Wednesday the 14th! We hope to see you guys there! :)

Healthy U Fair flu shot registration is open! Visit pi.tt/flushot2022 to pre-register for a flu shot at the fair on Wednesday, September 14th. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.

During this time, The Pitt Pantry will be closed until August 30th due to the transition to our new location and the lack of staff. We appreciate everyone’s support for the past couple of years and are excited to get the new location opened for the start of the fall semester. Since the pantry will be closed for the remainder of this month, we suggest checking out the local food pantries that are in close proximity to Oakland.

Attention shoppers there will be no in person shopping or pick up boxes until we moved into our new location on August 22nd! Today we had to relocate our food/nonperishable items for the move.

The Pitt Pantry is happy to announce that we are moving locations! We will be moving to a temporary location at the O’Hara Student Center by august 22nd! The Pitt Pantry will be closed for in person shopping until the new location is open. Thanks again for all of your support 🎉👏♥️
