Today, we have over $3,000 worth of donations in the Raffle from 42 sponsors, some of whom will be at the auction today. Your chance of winning a raffle prize is very high. Name another convention or auction where this many items were available at such a high value.

We've heard some people concerned over draft traffic. But several board members have been driving around Pittsburgh during the draft and traffic has actually been LIGHTER than normal at most times. SO don't let the hype scare you off! You'll be sorry if you miss this one!

It's Auction Eve and we couldn't be more excited to see all of our friends tomorrow, Sunday April 26 at the Monroeville Convention Center. Look for signs and feather banners to help you find the entrance! Registration begins at 9:30 am and auction kicks off at 11 am. Don't forget to review the rules or even pre-print your registration form at gpasi.org/auctions.

Here's our last New & Rare for the GPASI Spring Auction THIS SUNDAY, April 26 at the Monroeville Convention Center. We can't have a New & Rare list without a Cory! So our friends at Saburai Aquatics are bringing Scleromystax sp. CW038. These large fish from the Corydoradinae prefer a little cooler water. Adult males get beautiful extensions on their pectoral and dorsal fins. We're excited to see all of our fish friends. Doors/registration open at 9:30 am and the auction kicks off at 11am.

We're entering the homestretch before the GPASI Spring 2026 Auction at the Monroeville Convention Center. So it's time for a double-feature from our friends at I Wish I Were a Fish: Lake Inle dwarf spotted loaches and featherfin pearlfish! The Lake Inle spotted dwarf loach (Petruichthys brevis) come from Myanmar where they swim mid-water in schools. They spawn among aquatic plants. The featherfin pearlfish (Simpsonichthys constanciae) are a peat-spawning killifish endemic to Brazil.

Our friends at Amazon Tropics will be bringing these beautiful Apistogramma sp. "purple" to the GPASI Spring Auction at the Monroeville Convention center on Sunday April 26. These gorgeous dwarf cichlids are grouped in the A.regani species group. You won't want to miss them and all of the other offerings. But you might want to bring some extra cash (or your credit card) because you never know if there's another person wanting them.

As an aside, our new venue will have their concession stand open during the event so we won't have our usual kitchen offerings. We can't wait to see everyone Sunday!
