Sandals + Royal Caribbean News 🌟

Okay, I’ve got the inside scoop. 👀🌴

I was just on a call with Gary Sadler and Adam Stewart getting the details on the Royal Caribbean + Sandals partnership, and here’s what I want my Sandals people to know:

✨ Sandals is staying Sandals.
✨ Beaches is staying Beaches.
✨ The brands, the identity and the resort experience aren’t being replaced by Royal Caribbean.

What this partnership does bring is capital to grow, expand and continue improving the resorts — and that means more opportunities for Sandals & Beaches to bring their brand to new destinations and continue investing in the properties we already love.

And one of the biggest takeaways for me?

There are currently only 20 Sandals & Beaches Resorts across 10 Caribbean islands. 🤯🌴

Meet Alfred. 🇯🇲

I haven’t even left for Jamaica yet, but I already am excited to greet him again.

Alfred was my caddie on a past trip, and I still remember him — that laid-back Jamaican spirit, the raspy voice, the easy smile, and the way he just seemed to make everything feel a little more relaxed. He would say on the golf course: “No problem we can work with that!” But also he would laugh and tell stories about his life and I would get to know him and how he lived.

And honestly, that’s what I love about Jamaica.

Of course, there are the beaches, the resorts, the food, the music and the sunshine.

But the people are what stay with you.

Next week I’m heading back to Jamaica for the annual Sandals golf tournament, and I can’t wait to experience more of that Jamaican magic — and introduce you to some of the people who make this island so special. 🇯🇲❤️
