GREAT review of the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana from my very awesome (long time) client Jen Moss!!!!

Review of Majestic Colonial (Family side) Week of June 1, 2025:
We were grateful and lucky to have Pam’s help in planning this vacation (as she has done in the past!). She helped us to find our resort and to make sure that we had a good experience leading up to and during our stay. It gives us peace of mind knowing she is there to help! I spent the last week with my family at the Majestic Colonial (NOT club) (family of 4 with a 19 & 17 year old). We had two junior suite rooms. We used Nexus for our transportation to and from the airport with no issues (pre-arranged by Pam). Great communication both ways. I would recommend them. (Orange shirts!). Our check in at the hotel was smooth. Daniel at the front desk was awesome! We did try to see if we could upgrade to a swim up room when we got there as we did not know about them when we booked, but no luck. No complaints though. Our rooms were nice, clean and spacious. And they did work to put our kids room near us. We had no issues with the rooms. They were cleaned daily, fridges stocked and everything worked. I could see why people said the rooms were worn a bit, but it had zero impact on the quality of stay. The beds were super comfy. I do see why people commented on the toilet room being small. The shower was big and had a rain shower head! We really were not in the rooms much. There was always an option for food and drinks available. We loved the Japanese restaurant. We had 5 sit down dinners available. We ate at the steakhouse, Caribbean and Japanese twice. If you like sushi, tons of options on different days at buffet too. We did use room service which was free until 11pm. The kids ordered a pizza after hours one night and it was only $15. In my opinion the food overall was ok. Everyone was able to find something. It was about the same quality of other all inclusives we have stayed at in Mexico. I did miss hardly any fresh guac though! The cheese empanadas were my favorite! The pool is why we booked this resort and it did not disappoint. Loved it! The bridges were a nice touch. We hung by the pool bar with all the activities. Water aerobics, bingo, Zumba, foam party (Thursday) etc. The activity team brought such a fun vibe. There were plenty of quiet areas too if you want that. We had no issues getting a hut at 9am each day near the main bar. We are not huge beach users. It was beautiful and the water away from the edge was beautiful too. There was lots of seaweed. We have had seaweed other places but it seemed like too much to swim safely in the water by the beach. You can walk to the left 5 minutes and get to clear water to swim. They did clean it up. If we were here for the ocean it would have been disappointing. We did one excursion through the hotel. We did the sea aquarium walk. It was from 7am-2pm. It was a nice day out on the boat. You did the helmet walk, some light snorkeling in contained locations. With fish, stingrays, sharks. You got a picture with a sea lion. Got out to swim on a sandbar. They had fruit, drinks, dancing and lite sandwich included. If you plan to snorkel, bring reef safe sunblock. A small one is $25 at the hotel. We would recommend this excursion. They allow you to pay less if you don’t want to do the sea walk but your other people do. We had fun in the casino, playing pool, the night shopping with vendors. Loved the resort kitties. Felt very safe. Though kept a close eye on my 17 year old daughter (which we would do anywhere). Overall great week of quality time with our family. I would recommend based on our experience. If you can get a swim up room, I would! That’s the one thing I wish we did. They looked awesome. We came in with reasonable expectations having past all inclusive experiences. We did not have any issues with getting sick. I see why everyone speaks so highly of the people working at the resort. So kind. One other things, drinks were poured strong. Loved the Majestic (orange frozen drink). Tasted like orange creamsicle. Our crew loved the blue lagoon and purple rain too. Weather was awesome. Called for rain a lot, but we only had a little rain here and there that did not interfere with anything. (Night or early morning).

This wonderful family was referred to me by my longtime client, Andrew Scott. They traveled to Jamaica to celebrate Ms. Arlene’s 90th Birthday 🎉 I want to thank all of them for booking with PC Travel, but especially, Carmen, & Brittney! You two made this so easy and you both are awesome ❤️

First, this is a pic of my most amazing cousins Michelle Alexander and Cheryl Grimm, along with Michelle’s college roommates during their trip to Italy. Second, this pic was taken in , which was perfect because I don’t have a pic from this part of Italy, and also to get one of my most favorite, amazing, special students at Montour Elementary !!!
