1️⃣ You do NOT need to rush to buy party tickets when they go on sale. Seriously. Most dates are not going to sell out immediately, so there’s plenty of time to figure out whether a party fits your plans and which date makes the most sense.
2️⃣ If you’ve been hoping to stay at a specific resort, that’s where I’d focus first. Now that people can see party dates and start putting together real itineraries, some of the most popular (and festive) holiday resorts will start booking up.
3️⃣ Holiday promotions haven’t been announced yet, but they’re likely coming. The good news? You can secure your room now, and if a qualifying promotion is released, I’ll monitor your reservation and get the discount applied!
4️⃣ And if you’ve never done Disney during the holidays... it really is different. Main Street dressed for Christmas, giant resort trees, holiday treats everywhere, Christmas music playing, cooler weather, festive entertainment—it just feels special. My family’s trip last November was one of my favorite trips we’ve ever taken.✨🥰

✨ Flashback Friday to Simple Magic Travel Company Summit 2026! ✨

Last weekend was the perfect mix of learning, exploring, team building, and fun—all with plenty of Disney magic sprinkled throughout.

One of the greatest blessings of being part of this team is knowing I’m surrounded by people I can turn to for advice, fresh perspectives, and support when navigating unique client situations. Kayla Ball | Disney Expert and Savannah Koon truly believe in the value of education and collaboration, encouraging us to learn from one another so we can better serve the families who trust us with their vacations.

This trip was filled with new experiences, and I’m excited to bring everything I learned back to my clients.  One of the best parts of this trip was being reminded that Disney isn’t just for family vacations. Take the friends trip! ✨

This place gets so much hate, but I think the real problem is expectations vs. reality. If you were just booking on your own, it’s not completely clear that the Garden Wing is a totally separate building from the main Contemporary building - it’s not just a separate wing of the building.

So if you showed up and had to walk out to a totally separate building, this would not line up with your expectations and I could see where there would be disappointment.

That’s always my goal - to make sure you know exactly what you’re getting when you decide where to call home on your Disney vacation.

And if you want to be as close to Magic Kingdom as possible and not totally blow the budget, the Garden Wing is SUCH a good option.

There are families and situations where this would not be the right resort choice, but there are others where it would be perfect. That’s my job - helping you find your perfect spot.
