Made with local coal, steel, and opalescent glass from the Youghiogheny factory, it’s a reminder of the hard work and craftsmanship that shaped this region.

It stretches over 320 miles from Cincinnati to Cleveland, winding through peaceful countryside, charming small towns, lively cities, and quiet, shaded canal paths. It’s not just a bike tour—it’s the kind of ride that sticks with you. Definitely one of my favorite ways to explore Ohio on two wheels.

From July 7 to August 27, you can save up to $85 per person on any self-guided GAP tour (excluding GAPCO). It’s the ideal season: warm days, plenty of sunshine, and trail towns in full swing with open cafés, shops, and welcoming B&Bs. Whether you’re out for a laid-back journey or ready to cover big miles, there’s room to ride your way. Just book at least two weeks ahead—and make this the summer you finally say yes to the GAP.
