Our program will be offered once each month through the spring and fall and is funded by our generous donors!

We’ve had such an awesome time with our spring camps that we’re adding one more FREE camp day — June 14th! 🌼🐴

Couldn’t make it to spring camp? No worries — we’ll have more dates this fall, so stay tuned! 🍂

We keep our camp groups small so kids can safely connect with animals, get individual support, and build skills in a calm, encouraging space.

To keep things fair and accessible, spots are first come, first enrolled — and we ask that each child attend only one camp day per year. Once you fill out an interest form, we’ll give you a call to get you registered! 📞

🎨✨ Amazing things happen when you combine the creativity of kids with the inspiration of horses!

At camp, we know how every single little human brain can learn very differently. That’s why each day includes not just hands-on animal quality time, but also room and space to be creative — from animal-themed crafts to painting with the horses! 🐴🎨

(Shhhhh 🤫… not like it's a secret or anything but... they’re also building skills like cooperation, problem-solving, following directions, and perspective-taking 😉)

It's always such a great time, seeing what our campers — and horses — come up with 🥰 If you want more chances for a summer camp day, then we'd love to have your help, whether it be by volunteering your time or donating to our cause!

Camp memories are better when shared—and this adorable mom and son duo had the sweetest experience to tell us about!

"I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for the incredible day camp you hosted. My 9-year-old son has nonverbal autism and a range of sensory needs, so I was understandably a bit nervous about how he would respond to a new environment and unfamiliar faces.

To my delight, your staff and volunteers were not only kind and welcoming, but also exceptionally patient, compassionate, and attentive to his unique needs. It meant the world to me to see my son giggling and jumping with joy as he groomed the horses and confidently led them through an obstacle course. When he hesitated or wasn’t quite ready for an activity, the volunteers respectfully followed his lead, ensuring he always felt safe and comfortable.

It was a beautiful day filled with learning, connection, and new experiences—moments I will treasure forever. Thank you for creating such an inclusive and supportive space. We’re already looking forward to the next camp!"

🧼 Fun Fact! Did you know horses grow two coats a year? 🐴

Dusty is shedding her thick winter fluff to make room for a sleek summer coat 🌞❄️ All that extra hair has got to go — but she doesn’t mind! It means more grooming... aka scritchies, massages, and attention 🥰

And hey — if you volunteer at the ranch, you might get lucky and be the one to give her a spa day! 💖

Big and small, all our horses and donkeys need to see a farrier — a person who trims hooves and makes and puts on horseshoes — about every 6 weeks. Most of our horses are barefoot, so our farrier Jonathan trims off excess growth and makes sure the hoof maintains a good shape between cycles. It's like getting a manicure and doesn’t hurt them at all!

We have a few horses who wear shoes for one reason or another. For example, Waylon wears shoes on his front feet because he has a club foot, so corrective shoes help to even him out.

Hoof health is incredibly important for the horses, as having a hoof that's too long, too short, or not the right shape can cause pain, put more strain on joints, and affect a horse’s entire body!

Each hoof trim costs $80 every 6 weeks for each of our horses and donkeys (more if they have shoes), and it adds up!

Enjoying the little things—like learning to lead a horse at kids day camp! 🐴
From weaving through cones to trotting over bridges, every camper got to put their own spin on "walking the walk." With one-on-one guidance from adults, each kid gained confidence handling different kinds of horses. And at the end? They showed off their skills in an obstacle course worthy of a checkmate! ♟️🐎
