Today, the final barge departed from the legendary Boca Grande Sandbar, officially closing out the 2026 H2O Music Festival weekend.

A sincere thank you to every organizer, volunteer, captain, vendor, security crew member, and support team who invested countless hours into making this year’s event possible. Your hard work helped create another unforgettable Memorial Day celebration on the waters of Southwest Florida.

From sunrise preparations to the final departure, the 2026 H2O Festival brought together boating, music, and the incredible atmosphere that makes Boca Grande Sandbar such a unique destination.

We now look ahead to the next H2O Festival on Memorial Day Weekend 2027.

The Boca Grande Sandbar H2O Music Festival returned on May 23, 2026 with massive crowds, live music, and one of the largest boating gatherings on the Gulf Coast.

Today was the first day of preparation for the at the Boca Grande sandbar area. Boats, staging platforms, and setup crews are already gathering ahead of Memorial Day weekend. The main event is scheduled for May 23, 2026, and is expected to bring a large number of boaters, kayakers, and sandbar visitors to the waters between Gasparilla Island and Placida.
