Dream Excapes A millennial travel designer who has worked in the travel industry for 11 years and caught the travel bug in her late teens, I am Kristen DeAngelo.

I've had the opportunity to explore 23 countries around the world and some several times. I have a huge love, passion and desire to travel and be immersed in other cultures. I also have a love for photography, animals, music, food, white sandy beaches with blue waters and the Caribbean. My second home and a piece of my heart lives in the Caribbean islands. I specialize in and am very familiar with

the Caribbean islands and Mexico's Caribbean beach areas. I've had the opportunity to send several clients to explore these areas, however, I have planned client's vacations around the globe that have included several different travel components. My focus and fulfillment has turned towards planning destination weddings and honeymoons. I hold my Certified Travel Associate title, my IATAN certification as well as many other certifications of destinations and resorts. I have won Travel Agent magazine's "30 under 30" award in 2017 and was recognized with an article in the magazine. I've also written several articles for industry magazines. I hope you will allow me the opportunity to help you check off that next destination on your bucket list!

You might be wondering what I do for Dream Excapes clients:
1. Handle all the logistics of your trip to match your travel preferences and interests. This helps to create seamless and unforgettable experiences. While your friend loved a specific resort, it may not be the right fit for you.
2. Provide you with my expertise and guidance in choosing the right destination, resort and/or itinerary for your trip. I've spent countless hours investing in education and personally visiting destinations to assist you.
3. Available to you throughout the entire planning process if you have questions or thoughts and also available to you during your entire travel time, in case of any travel disruptions. I do always love a quick picture too, if you're willing to share 😊
There are many other tasks and responsibilities that I do each day for my clients and behind the scenes! I'm ready to help you, when you're ready!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! 🇲🇽
Today isn’t just about tacos and margaritas (though we love those too!) - it’s a chance to recognize and celebrate Mexican culture, history, and resilience.
Did you know? Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day (that’s September 16). It actually commemorates the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, when a small, outnumbered Mexican army defeated the powerful French forces. While it’s actually a minor holiday in Mexico, it's become a big celebration of Mexican culture and heritage, especially in the U.S.
As someone who works closely with the Mexican Caribbean, I see every day how rich, vibrant, and welcoming this destination truly is! So whether you're celebrating at home or dreaming of your next getaway, take a moment to appreciate the beauty of Mexico.

I'm a day late! But yesterday was Earth Day 🌎💚
Did you know many resorts, especially in the Caribbean and Mexico, are working towards becoming more sustainable - reducing plastic, saving water by re-using towels, less changing of bed linens, energy saving practices, switching to electronic forms, keeping the beaches clean to protect marine life. The list keeps growing. Many resorts have even received rewards for their contributions to the environment!
All of this helps to preserve the stunning beaches, coral reefs, lush jungles and so much more that remind us just how beautiful our planet is.
