Remember to renew before your six months expiration date … some countries are longer.
The ONLY official, authorized place to renew your U.S. passport online is opr.travel.state.gov. Other websites or companies claiming to renew your passport online charge extra fees, put your personal data at risk, and may be fraudulent. No one else can legally sign and submit your online passport application for you. Even if a company has “Gov” in its name, it is not authorized to accept or process online renewal applications. Always check you are on a website ending in .gov, NOT .com, .us, or .org.
