The Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration returns September 9–13, 2026, bringing five days of history, tradition and community celebration to Plattsburgh — and this year, it all takes place as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday!

More than 200 years ago, the Battle of Plattsburgh helped shape the course of our nation. Each September, our community comes together to remember the people, places and events of 1814 — and there are plenty of ways to be part of it.
