โœ… Never cut in front of a truck, as they require more stopping distance.
โœ… Give them room to turn and never squeeze between a turning truck and the curb.

North Dakota bumps highway speed limits and fines.
North Dakota voted to raise the speed limit to 80 mph on select multi-lane highways effective Aug. 1, becoming the ninth state in the country to do so.

Speed limits have been left up to states since 1995. Faster limits require even more attention to your surrounding to ensure safety at all times.

Higher posted limits also means speeding violations will come with higher fines, according to the new law: $20 or $5 for every mile per hour over the limit, whichever is greater, for highways with a posted speed limit of 65 mph, and a $20 fine for speeding.

๐Ÿšจ Industry Update: New English Proficiency Rule Going Into Effect ๐Ÿšจ

Starting June 25, drivers who cannot sufficiently read or speak English may now be placed out of service, per a new addition to the CVSA North American Standard Out-of-Service Criteria.

This change enforces existing FMCSA regulations (49 CFR 391.11(b)(2)) under an executive order and allows inspectors to remove drivers from service if theyโ€™re unable to communicate with officials, read traffic signs, or complete records in English.
