Pirates of Emerson is back at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA 🏴‍☠️

A few things to know before you go:

🏚️ Expect four walk-through haunted houses, roaming scare actors, midway games, photo ops, food vendors, the Frightmares and Oddities exhibit and live bands on select nights.

📆 Open select nights October 2 - November 1, 2026

🎟️ Tickets are available online only at piratesofemerson.com. Popular nights do sell out.

🚙 Parking at the Fairgrounds is $15. Credit, debit or mobile-tap-to-pay only, no cash. Drop offs are free. Enter Gate 8 off Valley Avenue.

🧒 Kids are allowed, but this is an extremely frightening experience. Recommended age is 13 and up. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by someone 21+

⚡️ Props and sets do use strobe lights, heavy theatrical smoke, and real fire.

🎃 Also happening at the fairgrounds from October 2-31, Pumpkins After Dark. Go check out this family-friendly art installation of more than 10,000 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns. Tickets sold separately.

🍒 The best part: Pirates of Emerson is a local family operation. What started as a home haunt has turned into a Bay Area tradition. The family behind it all spends all year building new sets and props to keep the park as frightening as ever.
