Put on your boots and join us at Soule Homestead Education Center for a farm-friendly story hour designed for kids ages 2–5 (siblings welcome!). Meet an animal, hear a story, and create a craft—all outdoors on our organic working farm.

“Pilgrim Progress” is a reenactment of the Pilgrims’ procession, starting at the Mayflower Society House on Winslow Street in downtown Plymouth. Costumed participants, representing winter survivors of 1621, march to the beat of a drum down North Street, along the Waterfront to Burial Hill, then through Main Street, returning to the Mayflower Society House.

The Pilgrim Progress takes place Fridays in August at 6pm and on Thanksgiving Day at 10am.

Sponsored by Plymouth Rock Foundation, General Society of Mayflower Descendants, and the Town of Plymouth Promotions Fund.

On August 8th don't miss the rare opportunity to watch Mayflower II as she departs for sea trials and Coast Guard certification. The ship is anticipated to leave under tow from State Pier at 9:00 am. Once clear of the harbor, the tug boat will cast off Mayflower II, and the ship will set sail and cruise Cape Cod Bay. Following the sail, the tug boat will again assist Mayflower II 's return to her berth in Plymouth Harbor at around 3:00 pm.

Visitors may observe dockside training August 2nd & 3rd during regular hours. Mayflower II will be closed to the public August 4–8 to accommodate the sail.
