Availability Update!!!

We are pleased to announce that starting May 7th we will be unavailable indefinitely due to a long term rental. We would like to thank all that have given us their business over the past year as an ATV vacation rental, and a special thanks to all who shared our posts and stories to help get our name out there! We plan to make further improvements during this period with hopes to return to providing exemplary short term rental services in the future, but for now, we have decided to go the long term route.

We still have some availability in April for those needing last minute accomodations, but we would like to recommend those searching for short term rentals to fellow hosts in the town of Pocahontas including:

Also, just because The Adkins House wont be available, doesn't mean we won't have any further announcements! We plan to stay active in the community and hope to further make a difference in the town of Pocahontas, as well as throughout our little corner of Southern Appalachia. At The Adkins House, we are pleased to tell you that nothing is too good to be true! You will have a full house rental, private yard with no neighbors on either side, and a true Appalachian experience in a century old piece of history. No more bunk beds, kitchenettes, or laundromats. You will have a full kitchen and dining area, separate beds, full laundry room, and more to ensure your stay is of the best quality.

With two full beds, one queen bed, and 2 full baths, we are perfect size for a family or smaller groups. We also allow air mattresses for the kids if needed. Need to book a couple places for a large group? No problem! There are other rentals in Pocahontas, VA located on the same street that we would love to recommend, so your entire group can have full house accommodations and stay within walking distance of each other!

Throughout the semester, students will visit the town of Pocahontas, Virginia. The goal is to interact with community groups, document all aspects of structures around the town with photos and drawings, conduct research, and create designs for the community to use for grant proposals.
