She is extra heavy construction, built for high speeds and high seas. The Gambler is powered by 4 Detroit/MTU engines. With a total of 3000 horses powering 4 props, she is capable of speeds of up to 30 knots! Our vessel also features the newest, most advanced electronics with over $50,000 worth of fish finding equipment. Night fishing is illuminated on the Gambler with high intensity flood and dec

k lighting - and she's the only boat to feature under water lights built into the hull! You can find hot and cold food and beverages at the galley in our heated/air conditioned lounge. The Gambler is the widest boat in her class, providing extra stability and deck room for your comfort. She also boasts huge built-in fish holds for our offshore big game trips. Our business has been family owned and operated since 1949. The Gambler's friendly, experienced Captains and crew are happy to assist both beginners and experts. We welcome and encourage families and children to join us on our fishing excursions for the adventure of a life time! Wow… Labor Day already! Where did summer go?! 🇺🇸☀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who sailed with us this summer! We’ve loved meeting so many new faces, welcoming back familiar ones, and spending the summer on the water with all of you. ❤️

🎣 Fluke Report

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 9/8, we’re switching over to our 3/4-day fluke schedule, running through Saturday 9/19.

The fluke fishing has been a little picky, but the keepers coming over the rails have been quality September fish. There are still plenty of shorts around, along with some nice sea bass mixed in.

🔥 Garrett kicked off September’s Monthly Pool with a beautiful 7.9 lb flattie!

🌙 Nite Wreckin’ Report

Night fishing this week produced some nice catches of blues and ling. In fact, many of the ling were getting chased by blues on the way up — making for some pretty exciting trips!

And you never know what you’ll see after dark… We’ve had visits from sharks 🦈 and even a turtle! 🐢

🎣 Gambler Weekly Report & Schedule Update 🌙

Fluke fishing is still going strong! 🔥

This week continued to produce consistent fluke action, with rods bending throughout the day on plenty of short fluke, sea bass, and some quality keepers.

We’ve seen quite a few limits coming over the rails, while many anglers are heading home with 1–2 keepers in the cooler. The summer season may be winding down, but the fluke bite is still hot! 🎣

🌙 Nite Wreckin’ Report

Our Nite Wreckin’ trips also produced some quality catches this week, with some nicer ling moving onto the grounds and filling the coolers. Our high hooks have been putting together some impressive catches, with 30+ ling on the best trips!

Sea bass are still showing up at night, while the blues have been a little finicky. We’re continuing to throw plenty of chum and hopefully get them chewing!

❤️ Summer Isn’t Over Yet!

It’s hard to believe summer is almost over. We’ve had an amazing season meeting so many new families, welcoming back returning families, and of course enjoying the camaraderie, laughs, and jokes with all of our regulars.

We truly appreciate everyone who has spent part of their summer with us aboard the Gambler. ❤️🎣

Night fishing has shown a nice improvement from last week, with some better-quality ling making their way into the coolers, along with sea bass mixed in.

We’ve also seen more bluefish action, including some quality cocktail blues making for some fun nights under the lights. And the sharks are still making appearances, adding a little extra excitement to the night! 🦈🌙🎣

Another week on the fluke grounds has proven productive aboard the Gambler. While we’d still like to see a higher keeper-to-short ratio, we can’t complain when the rods are bending all day long!

There are plenty of short fluke keeping everyone busy. First-time anglers are having a blast with all the bites, while our experienced fishermen are putting in the work to find those keepers. We’re also still seeing plenty of sea bass mixed in.

With only a few weeks of summer left before the kids head back to school, now is the time to get them out on the water! 🎣☀️
