I am excited to announce the premiere of my film, Tailless, on November 15th in Berkeley, CA. This short documentary shares the story of Chilean photographer Diego Araya's encounter with a puma kitten born without a tail and how she leads him to his efforts to protect Chile's pumas.

The evening includes a conservation panel discussion with special guests Camilla Fox of Project Coyote, environmental writer Ken Brower and conservation photographer and writer Melissa Groo, as well as a special screening of the film Wildlife Killing Contests featuring Camilla Fox.

Tickets are for sale at:

PHOTO CLUB is open for signup this weekend!

Every month for 6 months, I share one high resolution image that I shot specifically for Club members only. It is yours to print at any size and hang on your wall. The shot will never be used on social media, entered into a contest or be used in print. It is exclusive to members only.

With the image comes the full story behind the shot, the technical settings I used, the technique, the post processing workflow with all my settings, as well as tips and tricks for shooting and post processing.

I have been doing this for several years now and it is super fun and engaging. I look forward to the many personal conversations I have with members every month.

Tag a friend in the comments section and I will choose one person from the FB/IG comments to give away a REWILD POINT REYES hoodie after this weekend.

I am excited that Bay Nature magazine has publish my story about a tree climbing coyote. Stephanie Becker captured the moment perfectly and it was so fun working with her in creating the story. Project Coyote's Camilla Fox is quoted in the story and works tirelessly for the protection of our native predators.

Hope you like it!

Or at least there’s one in Moraga that can, as this video shows.

Good-bye 2020! We are off to a great start in 2021. We have had some killer bobcat encounters, howling coyotes at sunrise and a host of other wildlife activity. This is an incredible time of year for migrating species in the park, too.

We are operating under guidelines from the County of Marin and the National Park Service in reference to Covid-19. We also operate in an area not affected by the wildfires.

Enjoy the images!

This has been one heck of a year for Point Reyes. Covid shut the park down for months, then just as we got going again, fires shut us down again. But thankfully we are again back up and running. I am so grateful for those that have rebooked with me and am excited for the rest of the year. This past week we were out every day. I hope you enjoy the images from our last few safaris.

Drop a line if you'd like to get back out in the park on safari. Next availability is Nov 8 and 9.
