Today we switched from Sandals to Secrets! Secrets St Lucia is a brand new resort that just opened in June 2025! It was a short ride from Sandals Grande, only about 20 minutes away.

Secrets resorts are also adults only but do include some rooms with double beds.

Sometimes travel doesn't go the way you planned even when you do this for a living.

I was REALLY looking forward to taking a helicopter from the airport to Sandals Grande St Lucian. It's a 1.5-2 hour car ride through the mountains 🤢

Unfortunately when we landed with lots of clouds and rain possible, all helicopters were cancelled. We took the included sandals transfer and got to learn a ton about St Lucia on the way!
