We believe in sharing facts, not fear.

There has been a lot circulating in the news regarding Mexico travel. At this time, there are no reported issues in the Cancun and Riviera Maya tourism corridor. It is business as usual in the resort areas.

The Governor of Quintana Roo has announced an increased security presence as a precaution. The tourism areas remain operational and welcoming visitors.

Some recent headlines reference incidents in other parts of Mexico, not the Cancun and Riviera Maya resort zone. We are also seeing AI generated images circulating online, including fabricated photos depicting planes on fire, that are not connected to verified events in this region.

The U.S. Department of State currently lists this region at Level 2, “Exercise Increased Caution,” which is the same advisory level assigned to many popular international destinations and some major U.S. cities.

We continue to monitor official guidance closely. If anything were to change, our clients would be notified immediately.
