Day 3 – Our Favorite

A dinghy ride past the cliffs and through the sandbar into Little Lake Clark, a hike to the waterfall and cave, fishing for monster grayling, hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire, and a beautiful sunny day.

It was amazing. Then we topped the day off with steak dinner and crème brûlée aboard Odyssey that night.

A float plane landed next to Odyssey to pick everyone up for a day exploring Katmai National Park and watching brown bears catch salmon.

It's not every day you wake up aboard a sailboat in one national park, then take a float plane to another to spend the afternoon watching brown bears.
