If you ask us, August is one of Port A's best kept secrets.

The summer crowds start to thin out, but the Gulf is still warm enough to spend all day in the water. Restaurants are a little easier to get into, sunsets seem to get even prettier, and the beach has a slower pace that just feels... different.

It's one of our favorite times of year.

The beach toys will be packed away.
The family vacations will get harder to coordinate.
The sandcastle competitions will become stories you tell.
