While sculptors and lots of volunteers are preparing the grounds for SandFest, the festival hasn't actually begun yet. The event will take place Friday to Sunday, April 17 to 19.
Lots of information on SandFest is in the newest edition of the South Jetty newspaper. That new edition just hit the streets today. It's available at stores all over Port Aransas and online at www.portasouthjetty.com.

Who’s going to Sandfest?

A big mound of sand was being prepared today for sand sculptors to begin shaping it into Logo Mountain, the centerpiece of SandFest.
SandFest will be Friday to Sunday, April April 17 to 19. Logo Mountain is near Marker 13.
