With the up coming temps it looks like we will be getting out on the ice to chase some trophy walleye this year. With the shear number of walleye in the lake right now fishing is going to be incredible and your chances of catching that trophy through the ice has never been better.
I will be keeping my groups small this year in order to stay mobile and on the fish. Groups will be limited to 3 people per day and single individuals are welcome so don’t hesitate to get on the books. (It is Lake Erie you never know how long the season will last)
I plan to start running trips starting Feb 1st provided we have safe ice conditions. You will be fishing out of Otter Insulated flip over heated shanty’s. Travel on the ice will be by a ski-doo 2 up snowmobile and a can-am 800 2-up ATV. All rods reels tackle bait and electronics will be provided. All you need to bring is your Ohio fishing License and whatever you want to eat and drink. Please try to pack small and keep the amount of stuff you bring to a minimum as space is very limited.
Trips will be $300 per person and leave out of private access in Port Clinton. I may offer a very limited schedule for evening trips so inquire when you call if that interests you.
I will be posting some daily fishing reports and ice conditions so look for those in the coming days.
