I’m thinking of having a contest to name our newest addition to our charter fleet. We traded in our 19’ pontoon boat (Dock Holiday) for a 2023 24-foot Bennington Tri-hulled boat with a 150 hp Mercury engine. She features lots of lounges, cup holders, and space for food and drink coolers. With a Bluetooth sound system, swim ladder, and portta potty with privacy curtain, she is ready for great cruising adventures.

Well, I just wrote a song called “Bigger Boat”. This is a common affliction among those of us in the boating community. Today, I took heed of my own writing and bought…you guessed it…a “bigger boat”. We are going from a 19’ pontoon boat with a 50 hp Yamaha to a newer 24’ tritoon with a 150 hp Mercury. This will augment the new Boston Whaler that we bought last year.
