Please help us congratulate one of our mechanics, Spencer Fries, on completing his FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certification this past week!

Spencer has spent the last few years of his employment completing an FAA required 30-month apprenticeship in preparation for his many written, practical and oral examinations necessary to obtain this certification.

The dedication and hard work is something to be proud of, Congratulations Spencer!

We have good news!! Moving into the spring and summer season we will be working with the Port Clinton Kroger to continue our grocery pickup service year round! The winter guidelines will still apply, please have your orders in by Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and they will be delivered on Wednesday’s!

All Island Residents: Even though the boats are running, we will be doing Kroger pickup this week! Don’t forget to place your orders by tonight at 6 pm, and we will pick them up and deliver them tomorrow!

As the 2025 Winter Season comes to an end we wanted to take a moment to thank all of our customers that have traveled with us this winter. From the local island residents, winter tourists, and ice fishermen, we appreciate all of you and wouldn’t be here without your continued support. We proudly offer year-round service to all Lake Erie Islands, and look forward to seeing you this summer.

PIB Residents:
Tomorrow (3/21) is the last day Bobbi will be at the PIB freight room! All packages that are still at the freight room after 4 pm tomorrow will be taken to the boat dock for pickup!

Kelleys island residents:
We will continue to take Kelley’s Island freight until the end of next week when the ferry boats are up and running with their freight carts!

With our convenient grocery pick-up service, simply order on our website, choose a pick-up time, and we'll have everything ready for you. Pull into one of the marked parking spaces when you arrive, and call us to let us know you’re here.
We also deliver to Griffing Flying Services for transport to the islands! Simply state in the Checkout Instructions that you would like your order delivered to Griffing, and to which island.

The 2025 Winter season is in full effect! A few updates for this season:

Put-In-Bay Residents:
The Put-in-Bay Freight room will now be staffed Monday-Friday, from Noon-4 p.m. All customers will be contacted by Bobbi when packages are delivered and ready for pickup at the Put-in-Bay airport. Packages & prescriptions can only be picked up when the staff member is at the freight room. If you are unable to pickup up prescriptions or packages between the freight room hours, please let us know and we will leave them in the terminal, outside of the freight room for pickup! For returning FedEx packages, please drop them off to Bobbi at the freight room and they will be returned to the Port Clinton airport for Fedex pickup! Outside of those hours the freight room will be locked and secure! (The attached pictures show the location of the freight room inside the new terminal building)

Kelley’s Island, North Bass, & Middle Bass Residents:
All Fedex, prescriptions, & other packages are delivered to the islands as soon as possible. Our office staff will contact you via our office text line when your package is being delivered to the islands! If you are unable to pickup your package right away and would like schedule delivery for another time please contact our office and we will do our best to accommodate! For Fedex returns, please let our office staff know if you have a return and we will make sure to bring it back on the next flight for Fedex pickup!

All Island Residents:
We know how cold it gets this time of year! As a complimentary service, if you would like your car warmed up and pulled to the baggage loading area for your arrival at Port Clinton, please leave your keys with the front desk when you check in for your flight!

Kroger grocery pickup is running every week to all the islands with orders made by Tuesdays and delivery on Wednesdays! To sign up please call us at 419-734-5400 ext. 1, or email us at [email protected]

Kroger Grocery delivery Rates are as follows:
10$ flat fee for pickup
5$ per box of groceries
(gift cards can NOT be used for grocery pickup)

Along with Kroger orders we are also offering wholesale coffee delivery from Storm Mountain Coffee Roasters to the islands! To order from Storm Mountain Coffee please visit their website at www.drinkstorm.com and be sure to list which island the order is going to! Orders must be placed by Tuesdays and delivery to the islands will be on Fridays!

Lake Erie Ice Fishermen:
It looks like it is setting up to be a great year for ice fishing! If you are traveling to the Lake Erie Islands to fish, please let the office staff know at the time you make your reservation and we will do our best to accommodate any extra room you may need for transporting equipment and gear! We do ask customers to not bring any gas powered equipment (i.e. gas powered augers)

Griffing Flying Service does NOT take any UPS freight.

If you would like to sign up for this service please contact our front office! As a reminder please place orders with your name and island on the Kroger app or website by 6 pm on Tuesday night, and they will be delivered Wednesday morning!
