Breaking news!
Gillinder Glass is now ISO certified having met the requirements in ISO9001:2015! The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an internationally recognized Quality Management System that is focused on meeting customer expectations and delivering customer satisfaction by promoting worldwide proprietary, industrial and commercial standards.
The lengthy and costly process of becoming ISO certified was led by Linda Boardman, Gillinder Glass’s industrial engineer, and involved every member of the Gillinder Glass team. ISO certification will create new opportunities for Gillinder Glass.
A more formal announcement will follow!
Gillinder Glass is a custom glass manufacturer based in Port Jervis, New York. The company specializes in custom-molded, hand-pressed, clear, colored, UV, and IR glasses as well as custom/specialty compositions.

A note from Cathy Butler:
"My Gillinder Glass Pug doggie is hand painted just in time for Spring/Easter! He is 4 inches tall and is 2 1/2 pounds of solid glass. The Gillinder Glass logo is on the bottom of the dog. The glass used to make this dog is hand gathered and poured in a cast iron mold, then hand pressed. Any marks, lines, or folds found on any of my doggies is perfectly acceptable and part of the hand made process.

This solid glass dog was originally made in the 1930's, was hand blown into a mold (so he was hollow) then made into a night light. They started making them solid in the 1990's. I started painting the doggies about 5 years ago, and no two are alike!"
