Magnolia Beach is an unincorporated beach community, located along Lavaca Bay, in Calhoun County, Texas. Situated between Port Lavaca to the North, and Port O'Connor to the South, Magnolia Beach is a great area for fishing, camping, beachcombing, birdwatching and many other outdoor activities. The settlement's history dates back to the late 19th century.

It's totally bananas at Bayfront Peninsula Park! The "magnificent" Steve Braithwaite will be offering rides today, tomorrow and Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. Car seats are required for younger riders, and donations are accepted by Steve to help fund his operation.
