A pretty solid day once again this guy decided he was gonna go tangle himself up in the mangrove’s so we had to go get him..  ended up with a 25 inch redfish a nice keeper black drum a 14 inch sheepshead couple keeper mangrove snappers all in all a good day

Inshore fishing around Daytona Beach is heating up with solid action throughout the backwaters, flats, and mangrove-lined creeks. Redfish are feeding actively during early morning outgoing tides—look for them tailing near oyster bars and sandy drop-offs. Live shrimp, cut bait, and paddle tails are working well, especially around structures with moving water.
Spotted Seatrout are also showing up in good numbers, particularly near grass beds and channel edges. Flounder have been biting close to sandy banks and bridge pilings, with some keeper-size fish in the mix. Anglers targeting Sheepshead around docks and seawalls are landing a few using fiddler crabs and shrimp. With warm temps and calm winds, now’s a great time to hit the water and enjoy productive inshore fishing along Daytona’s scenic coast.
