Fished the Power-Pole National Redfish Tour out of Jacksonville in not so ideal conditions with my buddy Michael Baldwin. We started the day waiting out the tide for 2 hrs caught one little legal fish, then moved around in the same area and picked up one more fish. It's now just after noon and decided to make a 20 mile run where we upgraded 4 times with a few heartbreaks on some that were just over size. We did manage some solid fish with a 6.81lb redfish right before we had to run back to weigh-in to give us 12.58lbs and put us in 6th place out of 93 boats. What was a slow day turned into a great day catching a lot of redfish later in day.
