Safe Flashlight Filters for Sea Turtle Nesting Season

As in years past, we have 1” and 2" Flashlight Filters and .5" Cell Phone Filters available for free.

The filters are located inside the ice cream shop downstairs.

When walking the beach at night, these filters help remove distracting and harmful wavelengths of light that create problems for nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings.

St. Joseph Peninsula is the highest-density sea turtle nesting beach in Northwest Florida.

Sea turtle nesting season extends from May 1-October 31 along the Florida Panhandle.
