Something new is making waves on Cape San Blas this weekend!

The Cape San Blas Skim & Surf Contest is happening this Saturday, August 29, near the South end of William J. “Billy Joe” Rish Recreation Area. Come out for an afternoon of skimboarding, surf action and a special demonstration, followed by live music, a bonfire and beach cookout.

Spectators are welcome, and only $6 vehicle entry fee into the park. 🌊

People’s Choice nominations are now open! Help us celebrate the people, businesses and organizations that go above and beyond to make Gulf County a special place to live, work and visit.

Nominate your Gulf County favorites in all five categories. The top three nominees in each category will advance to the final voting round.
