Owning a beach house on Cape San Blas is a blessing I could never have imagined!
However it does come with extra work and worry!
I was there this past week getting everything ready for our spring break and summer guests! Here’s just a few of the items I checked off the “to do” list.
-Trim all of the bushes, w**d the flower gardens and water
-Cut down dead oleander trunk
-Trim branches that hang over the road
-Spray the gravel driveway for w**ds.
-Shovel and sweep sand off the boardwalk and beach mat
-Paint the screen porch table
-Organize the cupboards, drawers, closets and laundry room
-Count dishes, silverware, glasses etc to make sure there’s plenty for guests and order what’s needed.
-Chevked the fireplace
-Touch up wood furniture with paint pens
-Wash all of the throw rugs
-Carpenters for screen and wood trim repair
-Plumber for outdoor shower replacement
-Painter to cover new wood from fall
-Get quote to pressure wash house
-Elevator maintenance
-Septic pump out
Happy to say I left with my list done and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets, pickleball, beach walks and a bike ride.
