Moving on to Inverness for our stay. Yesterday took us to Eilean Donan Caslte, recognised as one of the most iconic images of Scotland all over the world. Situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet, and surrounded by some majestic scenery.
We also made our way to the ruggedly beautiful Isle of Skye.

Our Scotland Highlights tour is off to a fantastic start!

Today's highlight was Stirling Castle, one of Scotland's grandest and most historically significant castles. Perched high on a volcanic rock, it has witnessed royal coronations, epic battles, and was the childhood home of Mary, Queen of Scots.

We also visited Doune Castle, made famous by Outlander, Game of Thrones, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, before ending the day in the charming town of Pitlochry.

A wonderful first day exploring the heart of Scotland!

Very busy day with stops in Dürnstein for either a hike to castle ruins, intro to saffron presentation or a walk into the adorable town. From there you could bike about 19 miles and meet for a quick stop in Emmersdorf to continue with the days excursions, Melk Abbey, Artstetten Castle or a Baking and Bee workshop.

Next up Vienna! Options today were a deep dive into the life and works of Johann Strauss II, a tour of the city center or a biking adventure. This afternoon there was an option to visit the spectacular Schöbrunn Palace, a second biking adventure or do your own thing. St Stephens, yes another one, a classic Vienna sausage. Lipizzaner horses and the rose garden made for a great day.
