Sometimes the best ideas start with a simple “yes.”

More than a decade ago, Derek Lovitch approached us with an idea to combine birding and breweries. We weren’t sure what to expect but we gave it a shot. Today, Birds on Tap has become one of our favorite experiences, introducing countless people to both the incredible birdlife and amazing craft beer scene that make Greater Portland so special.

We’re incredibly honored to have that story featured in the latest issue of Portland City Lifestyle. The article also highlights our newest adventure, Forts & Feathers, and why we love creating experiences that help people discover something new, even in places they thought they already knew.

A huge thank you to Derek for sharing his passion, to Portland City Lifestyle for telling our story, and to everyone who’s joined us on a birding adventure over the years.
