Unforgettable Honeymoons Celebrating 25 Years in Business

Unforgettable Honeymoons was the first online honeymoon niche travel agency in the world and has planned over 10,000+ honeymoons over the past 25 years.

Owner/ founder Renee Meyer realized in 1994 while working at a national singles organization (Great Expectations) that there were very few if any resources for helping couples plan their honeymoon. The happy couples she assisted in finding each other who were getting married could not find help planning the ideal honeymoon and asked her advice since she had shared with them her love for travel. Renee had first caught the travel bug fairly young as a competitive figure skater ( ice) , and began skating professionally abroad in Atami Japan in 1981. She worked as an instructor and then for Great Expectations after her skating career ended prematurely due to an injury. The name and vision of Unforgettable Honeymoons came to her in 1994, and the rest is a story of pure dedication to helping engaged couples find and book their dream honeymoon. Today Unforgettable Honeymoons celebrates 25 years and over 10,0000 honeymoons planned, and has a wonderful staff of eight professional honeymoon experts.

Renee and her staff’s expertise and knowledge has been garnered by the national media for over 20 years with writers featuring our travel and honeymoon advice in articles for Newsweek Magazine, USA today, Islands Magazine, LA Times, CNNMoney, and most recently Cosmopolitan Magazine.

Unforgettable Honeymoons has been asked to plan honeymoons for winners and specials guests on TLC’s Four Weddings, Steve Harvey, Dr Phil and the Wheel of Fortune. The knowledgeable and friendly staff at Unforgettable Honeymoons have all traveled extensively so they can talk to couples about their own experiences, and assist them in choosing the ideal location for their honeymoon.
