The Jay County Visitor and Tourism Bureau exists to lead, support, and develop the Tourism industry by marketing Jay County to the traveling public in order to increase economic impact and improve this county's quality of life.

NO CHARGE to set up in front of our bookstore/ pet rescue in Portland during the Tractor & Engine Show this year!
Freewill donations gladly accepted.
We will have spots available Tues-Sat, Aug. 25-29.
Our large parking lot is in clear view of Highway 67/ Votaw Street, just down from Wal Mart. We have spots available both in the parking lot or in the large grassy area in front of our building.
Restroom and AC available inside to cool off if it's too hot.
Very limited electric access (there will be a $10/ day fee for this).
Vintage, handmade or flea market vendors tend to do much better at this event than MLM's.
Food trucks welcome!

Wanted to give an update on the events this weekend.

Balbec Days is CANCELED, they will still have their silent auction and raffle it will be broadcast on Facebook or go to Balbec Days page for more information.

Redkey Gas Boom Days is still a go, they are monitoring the weather especially for some of the activites they will have.

We have enclosed the updated newsletter, we have not heard from any of the other events but if we do check our page or tune into PG-14.

Stop by the library on Friday, August 28, while supplies last, for a fun ice cream-themed take and make craft for kids of all ages. The kits will include a craft, activities, and some ice cream recipes for you to enjoy!
