What an amazing day at the America 250 Post Falls – The Early Years - Historical Food Festival!
Thank you to our incredible partners, the City of Post Falls Government and the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center, for helping bring this celebration of history, culture, and community to life.
A huge thank you to our sponsors, including ICCU, The Club at Prairie Falls, The Bunker Bar, Rosemary Manor, and our Yankee Doodle Pet Parade sponsors, Paws N Brews and TAILS Foundation Inc, for making this event possible.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the The Coeur d'Alene Tribe, the Indigenous people of this region and original stewards of this land, for helping open our celebration with a meaningful blessing of the land and for sharing their culture, history, and traditions. Their participation helped us honor the rich heritage of this place and recognize the generations who have called it home long before Idaho became a state or our nation was founded.
We are also grateful to our historical food vendors, who guided attendees through America's culinary history and helped bring the stories of our past to life.
A special thank you to the Post Falls Historical Society & Museum for organizing the Children's Parade and for their invaluable support behind the scenes in helping make so many aspects of this event a success.
Thank you to all of the amazing entertainers, including our magician, Scottish Highland Dancers, live musicians, chainsaw artist (Aaron Chavez Carving Artist), historical reenactors, and everyone who helped create a memorable experience for families throughout the day.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, participated in the parades, and celebrated with us. Your enthusiasm and community spirit made this event truly special.
Here's to honoring our past, celebrating our present, and looking ahead to the next 250 years!
