Ready for Rev250? Here are four ways to celebrate America's semiquincentennial in Dutchess County, and reflect on the region's role in our nation's history.

RevCon - June 13 at Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park: See Revolutionary War reenactors demonstrate military camp life, tactics, weapons, tools, livestock and Colonial living before engaging with historians at the hands-on history fair inside. Plus, taste special limited-release Commander in Cheers beers from local breweries.

Revolutionary Cider Celebration - June 27 at Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction: Tour the orchard and learn about the farm's storied past through wagon-ride talks. Enjoy live Americana music and explore foods of the Colonial era with culinary historians. With a glass in hand from Treasury Cider, be regaled by a master storyteller with Revolutionary tales from the Hudson Valley.

Commander in Cheers: Toast with Tiny George at over 22 locations. Scan the QR code on specially marked coasters at tasting rooms, taverns and pubs for an augmented reality George Washington who will share one of 6 tales of Dutchess' Revolutionary history (depending on where you've found him in the County.) Collect them for a great memento of Rev250!

Story Finder Rev250 Discovery Trail: Sign up for the free mobile passport to discover 25 different historic sites, tours, landmarks and experiences iconic to the region's Revolutionary War history. Each visit to a site gives you an entry to our grand Rev250 giveaway, with such prizes as private white glove tours at Mount Gulian Historic Site and gift cards to the tavern at The Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn. Pictured is the brand-new exhibit on General Washington's headquarters at John Kane House in Pawling.

A day for reflection on the banks of the Hudson. 🇺🇸

Today, the grounds of Mount Gulian are quiet as we honor the memory of the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

From the Revolutionary War to the present day, we remember the sacrifices made to secure our freedom. We invite you to join us in a moment of gratitude for those who served and those we have lost.
