This sweet family is heading to Disneyland for Christmas! 🏰🎅🏼 Mom, Dad, their little guy, and Grandma are getting ready for a holiday trip filled with Disney magic. ❤️

They’ll be staying at The Anaheim Hotel, just a short walk from the parks, and have 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets with Lightning Lane Multi Pass, so they’ll have plenty of time to experience both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure! 🎢✨

Out of office! ✈️🇭🇺

From August 21st–28th, I’ll be exploring the beautiful country of Hungary and celebrating an extra-special occasion: my friend’s wedding! 💍🥂

I’m so excited to experience Hungary, soak up the culture, eat plenty of amazing food, explore Budapest, and most importantly, celebrate with some of my favorite people. ❤️📸✨

While I’m away, I’ll be in a different time zone, so responses to messages, texts, calls, and emails may be a little slower than usual. I’ll get back to you when I can, and I appreciate your patience!

✨ A magical Disney getaway for the whole family! ✨

My bestie Kristina Beissel and her family just got back from the sweetest trip to Walt Disney World! 🏰💕 Kristina traveled with her husband, their daughter, and her parents, making this the perfect multi-generational Disney vacation. 🥹✨

They took advantage of Disney’s Late Summer Room Offer for Annual Passholders and stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, with easy access to the Disney Skyliner! 🚡☀️

And they packed SO much magic into their trip! ✨

This one is extra special for me… I just booked a trip to Miami for the CSP Swimming and Diving team! 💛🏊🏻‍♀️

As a Concordia St. Paul alum myself, getting to help send the Golden Bears somewhere is such a fun full-circle moment. 🐻💛

The team will be staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Sunny Isles Beach, directly across from the white sands of Sunny Isles Beach. 🌊

For this group, we booked 8 studio suites (7 with two Queen beds and 1 King suite) giving everyone plenty of space to settle in for their stay.

And this property is SUCH a great fit for a team/group trip:

Quick trip this time around, but we got to experience so many new things at Walt Disney World! ✨🏰

Magic Kingdom
🚀 Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
🎢 Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (snuck this in during my May trip too!)

EPCOT
🌎 Soarin’ Across America
🎠 Carousel of Progress (glad I got one last ride before the upcoming update!)

Hollywood Studios
🎸 Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (with the Muppets taking over!)
🚀 Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (Mandalorian & Grogu overlay!)

Unfortunately, we ran out of time before we could check out the new Bluey experience at Animal Kingdom, but that just gives me another reason to plan my next visit! 💙

So much fun!

When you travel, sometimes… things happen ✈️

My late-night flight from MSP to MCO was canceled, which is always a bummer when plans don’t go as expected.

Thankfully, covered the hotel, transportation, and even some food vouchers before my flight home the next day.

So naturally… I decided to turn it into some boots-on-the-ground research at Orlando 👀

This resort is right in the heart of International Drive and honestly has a lot going for it:
✨ Tropical pools, a lazy river, waterslide, and cabanas
✨ Spa + fitness center
✨ Multiple dining options on-site
✨ Newly renovated rooms and suites
✨ Super convenient location near the parks and convention center

One thing I thought was especially interesting was the transportation setup:
🚌 Disney shuttle transportation is included with the resort fee and currently offers roundtrip service to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT daily (reservations are required and seating is first come, first serve).
🚌 As a Universal Partner Hotel, they also offer complimentary shuttle transportation to all four Universal Orlando theme parks, plus some additional park perks and discounts.

It’s also just minutes from Universal Epic Universe!

While I’ll ALWAYS recommend staying at Disney for a Disney vacation and Universal for a Universal vacation, if you’re looking for something a little different (especially for a convention trip, split stay, or more resort-style experience) this could be a fun option! ☀️

And remember, I can help with hotel recommendations and vacation planning even if you aren’t staying directly at Disney or Universal! There are so many great options around Orlando depending on your budget, travel style, and priorities. ✨

In this video, we opened the pink Hidden Disney Mystery pin pouches while riding the Skyliner from EPCOT’s World Showcase over to Hollywood Studios! 🌐🎬✨

This was SO much fun, huge thanks to Kristina’s husband for recording for us! 🎥
