The countdown is on!

Today, April 1, 2026, marks a historic return to deep space as Artemis II prepares for liftoff from Kennedy Space Center. After more than 50 years, a human crew—including Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—is set to journey around the Moon, testing the systems that will pave the way for our permanent return to the lunar surface.

As of this morning, the weather is 80% "Go" for the 5:24p CT launch window.

As a young child in the 1960s, I watched with extreme interest the launches of the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs. For those that worked in Mission Control during that decade, “failure was not an option”. Their work inspires me to this day.
