This Memorial Day, as couples escape to the mountains to reconnect, we pause to remember the heroes who gave everything so we could enjoy moments like these — peaceful mornings, hikes, and nights under the stars.

Here at The Catskills Mountain House, the air feels a little crisper, the sky a little brighter, and our hearts a little fuller as we reflect on the freedom we often take for granted.

To all who have served and sacrificed — we thank you.

I can’t believe it’s been 3 years….✨It was written in the stars ✨

3 years ago today my husband and I purchased our cabin in the mountains of the Catskills we had been dreaming of for a while. We had been searching high and low for the perfect cabin to call our own, and after several failed attempts we landed in a little town called Prattsville, NY. We had never heard of the town before but as one star after another was drawn in the sky we knew this is where we were meant to be all along. ⁣⁣
