As the schools around us have started going back I have had an increase of inquiries for the end of this year through 2027! Summer is over and we want something to look forward to… let’s starting planning your vacation so as you are running around driving your kids or grandkids to their million of fall activities and then the Holidays take over you have something to look forward to or you aren’t paying premium price for booking something last minute! As always my services are free and built into the price you are already booking at! My 2027 goal is to get to Top Produce which is booking $350,000 worth of travel and I am well on my your. Your support of my side business supports our family and all the activities my kids are involved in! So thank you to all my past customers and future customers for your trust in me!

Sunday Morning Rain is falling….. this late 80’s baby gets that song stuck in her head every time it’s raining on a Sunday! And while I am still dreaming of Alaska and the beautiful weather we had…. I am sipping coffee out of my new coffee mug(I get a new mug every vacation) and have a long list of people reaching out to book their next vacation! Summer is ending and they are thinking of where they want to go bect! So whether you want to travel before the end of 2026 or it’s time to start about your 2027 travel please reach out!

I am so thankful to everyone who is trusting me with their vacation and supporting my family in this way! All of the money I earn from this helps pay for the girls extracurriculars which like everything else in this world keep getting more expensive!

I also am about $100k away from reaching top producer which I know would be a crazy stretch for this year but I am trying and if not this year then definitely the next year!

And just the soft reminder that my services cost you nothing extra. They are built into the prices you are already booking everything at so whether you use me or not you are paying for my services! And even if you know exactly what you want to do and where you want to stay just allowing me to book it for you supports my family and then you get my support pre, during and post trip if anything needs to change!

Because I always keep it real traveling with 3 children has been a lot at times. We booked this cruise last minute so the only seating time to eat is 8:15 which add 3/4 hours on is our home time. Witching hour hits and you would think we were making them get teeth pulled, they can’t get along and it makes me irate, but I try to remember that I definitely would have been the same way 😂. HOWEVER despite it not being easy 100% of the time watching the kids see the wonders of Alaska and experiencing it for the first time with them has been something magical! And sprinkle in that and this will be a trip that I will never forget. Today we docked in Skagway and we drove the White Pass stopping in many scenic places, we visited the Tagish Lake Kennels tlkyukon and unfortunately could not fit a puppy in our backpack. Then we did the Yukon suspension bridge in which Sloane overcame her fears and walked across the bridge. Traveling with 3 very different kids and ages won’t always be the easiest and there will never be a perfect time for each of them however I will always take the trip

It’s slowing down on a Disney cruise, wrapped in a towel after swimming, watching a movie on Funnel Vision together under a blue sky.

⚽️RED CARD!⚽️

Every traveler has committed at least one travel foul… but don’t worry, this is a judgment-free zone….

🟥 Booking with a big-box site just to save a few dollars. (The dollars you save usually cost you in time. If something happens or you need to make a change there will be no one on the other end of line at the big box store to help you! )
🟥 Skipping travel insurance because “nothing will happen.” (Stuff happens and you don’t want to be stuck with an unexpected bill)
🟥 Waiting until the last minute to book and expecting the best prices. ( it is not often that prices drop significantly last minute m: You will probably also lose the ability of choice because places and rooms will be sold out and the options will be what is left which could be the most expensive)
🟥 Planning a group trip or destination wedding without a travel advisor. (Group travel has a lot of moving pieces and you don’t want to have to manage that alone and sometimes based on people going or rooms booked there are extra perks or group rates that can be had and your travel agent will know and be able to get you the most for your trip!)
🟥 Thinking Google can replace years of travel experience. (News flash Google does not know it all and there are tips and tricks that you pick up by traveling)

The good news? None of these are game-ending mistakes and why Travel Advisors exist….to help you avoid costly penalties, save you time, and be there when things don’t go according to plan.

Not every trip I book is a Disney vacation. 🏰✨

Not every trip is an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean. 🌴🍹

And not every vacation has to cost thousands and thousands of dollars.

Today I booked an amazing fall getaway to San Diego for a wonderful couple. ✈️ Hotel, flights, and a rental car for under $2,500!

One of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor is helping people realize that travel doesn’t have to be extravagant to make memories. Whether it’s:

I’m going to ask for a favor! 🙏

At the beginning of this year, I set a huge goal for myself: to book $300,000 in travel. Life had other plans. Between closing my bridal shop, starting a new full-time career, raising three girls, and keeping up with everything else, I had to shift my focus from finding new clients to taking exceptional care of the clients who had already trusted me with their vacations.

Even with all of that, I’m 60% of the way there, and this girl loves a goal go go after! I am settled into my new job and have the time to focus on helping new clients! Every trip I book gets me closer, and every client who trusts me means more than you could know.

They say travel agents make the worst clients… and apparently, THEY ARE CORRECT. 🤦‍♀️😂

We made a last-minute decision to hop on a Disney Cruise Line Alaska sailing this summer! While the cruise itself is to Alaska, it departs from Vancouver, Canada.

I knew our kids’ passports were good—they just got them last year. I knew mine was still valid. So naturally… I assumed my husband’s was too.

Fast forward to 30 days before sailing. I’m getting ready to book our train from Seattle to Vancouver and you need to input your passport information and it is……

Expired.

In 2024. 😳

Cue the mini panic attack and frantic Google searches.

The good news? There are options! The not-so-good news? Expedited passports come with some pretty hefty fees. So while I’m writing this, my husband is spending his morning getting his passport expedited so we can (hopefully!) make our trip.

This is exactly why I ask every client to send me a photo of their passport when we start planning international travel.

✔️ I verify that the names match exactly.
✔️ I check the expiration date.
✔️ I make sure there are no surprises—like finding out your passport expired two years ago.

Many countries also require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, so catching these things early can save a lot of stress, time, and money.

Learn from my mistake! 😂 Even travel agents need a travel agent sometimes.
