Tavaputs Ranch The Tavaputs Ranch is owned and operated by Butch and Jeanie Jensen. The Jensen family live and work in the same place their ancestors settled in 1889.

Today the Jensen family maintain 1,200 cows on 30,000 deeded acres and 320,000 acres of state and federal lease. The Jensen's manage their ranch along with their daughter, Jennie , son in law Jeff and grandsons Jax and Jett. Although the Jensen's operation is primarily a Cattle Ranch, the family also offers:
- Western Experience - Mountain top tours and wild life viewing.
- Guided hunting (elk, de

er and bear)
- Bird watching
- Tours of Range Creek Canyon which include Pristine Ruins and Rock Art from the Fremont Indian. The Jensen's were the winner of the Leopold Conservation Award in 2009 and the Environmental Stewardship Award from the National Cattlemen's Association for Region VI in 2010. There’s nothing better than a week spent working cattle alongside good people. We want to give a huge thank you to our incredible branding crew for all the hard work, long hours, and helping hands getting the calves branded and vaccinated. From the experienced hands in the branding pen to the kids learning the value of hard work and tradition, it was a week full of teamwork, laughter, and memories made with great friends.

We’re grateful for everyone who showed up, pitched in, and helped carry on the ranching way of life. It truly takes a village, and we’re proud to share this lifestyle with such an amazing crew. Here’s to good cattle, hardworking kids, and even better friends. 🤠🐂
