Join in on the celebrations this Thursday, June 19th in Princeton!

Start with the Juneteenth flag raising at 1:00 p.m. at Monument Plaza, presented by the Municipality of Princeton to lead off Juneteenth Celebration events at the Princeton Festival!

Then from 4-7 p.m., Come together to share Juneteenth resources, history, crafts, food, and fun as The Princeton Festival commemorates the holiday with community partners.

And as part of the Juneteenth celebration, head to Morven Museum & Garden's Stockton Education Center for a look at the music of Motown and how the record label helped further the cause of the Civil Rights Movement in America.

Experience Princeton is excited to welcome three new Princeton business leaders to our board:

Mamoun Chater manages the operations — alongside his uncles — of , located at 20 Witherspoon Street. Growing up in the restaurant industry, Mamoun developed a deep appreciation for the family business and is committed to building upon the legacy established by his family.

Kristin Menapace is the co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of , a home furnishings and gift store known for its custom barnwood furniture, artisan gifts, and commitment to sustainable design, located at 300 Witherspoon Street.

Michael Monarca is the General Manager of by Hilton Princeton, located in the heart of downtown at 10 Chambers St. Since joining the project in December 2023, Michael has overseen the hotel’s opening and day-to-day operations, bringing with him nearly three decades of hospitality leadership. 

The  team looks forward to working with these new members to create exceptional experiences for residents and visitors and to advocate for Princeton’s business community through strong partnerships.

We're thrilled to welcome our new intern to the   team!

You may see him around town, so be sure to say hello to Charlie Howes, a   resident and rising Junior at Boston University. 

Howes will focus on data analysis and urban development for Experience Princeton. In this position, he'll be analyzing the effectiveness of the Special Improvement District (SID) by working with both business and property owners. 

"Having called Princeton home for 15 years, it means a lot to contribute to a town I love," Howes said. "I’m grateful for the opportunity to begin my professional journey."

Don't miss your chance to experience upcoming tours at the Princeton University Library!

On Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 at 1:00 p.m., join in on a 45-minute curator-led tour of "The Most Formidable Weapon Against Errors: The Sid Lapidus ’59 Collection & the Age of Reason" exhibition in the Milberg Gallery at Firestone Library. Tours meet in the lobby, and for this tour, registration is not required.

And on Friday, June 20 at 9:30 a.m., take a 45-minute guided tour of Firestone Library itself! Registration is required.

Experience Princeton is proud to announce we have received a Transformation Grant in the amount of $150,000 from the Main Street New Jersey (MSNJ) program!

The grant award will provide funds for an economic feasibility study to help improve the mix and vitality of Princeton businesses, technology upgrades, and promotional activities in anticipation of America’s 250th anniversary. It will also support physical improvements including plantings, furniture, and wayfinding.

“Princeton is thrilled to be one of the newest Main Street New Jersey designated communities and to be awarded this grant,” said Experience Princeton Executive Director Isaac Kremer.
