Always seeing crawfish in their stomachs from May-Sept!! This one was jam packed this morning!

Fish ate a herring on a freeline in 50’ of water. Guess the herring was its dessert 🤣🤣🤣

Got back in town last night, got the boat put back together and was back out today getting back into the rhythm!! Didn’t take long as not much has changed in the last 9 days!

We moved 6 times and caught fish everywhere we went. Every fish was caught on a spotlocked freeline, a weightless plane board, or a lure casting to schooling fish.

We are fishing ultralight freelines! This is one of my favorite methods! The Catch The Fever precision cast 7’ crappie rods are my go to rod for this application! Big fish today was 30”+ and she smoked a freeline!

Barring a cancellation June is fully booked except the 21st. (UPDATE: 21st is BOOKED)

Some depth finder shots in the comments. You would think they would eat a downrod but they didn’t want anything to do with them.

Time for some time off!!! We got them good today as we have all week! Yall have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day weekend and I will see yall in June for busy month of fishing!

Man what a great spring it has been!!! Schooling fish the last 2 weeks has been great! Plenty of double digit fish along with tons of good keepers. Some days it’s 30-50 fish with hardly any shorts. I’m still catching the majority of my fish in 20’ of water or less with the majority of them coming from 1-5’ of water. They are chasing herring and threads that are in grass. The grass is key in the pattern I’ve been fishing.

All that being said this post is about updating yall on summer trip availability. This is a great time to put fish in the freezer or just have a good ole fish fry.

Little bird action from last months! 🤣 if swims or flies on lake Murray I’ve caught it, from eagles, loons, gulls, and every species of fish, it’s been in my boat!
